Virtual Address Service For Business

Remote Working

An Expost virtual address gives you a more convenient, professional and hassle-fee alternative to having work related post sent home.

Limited Space

Large volumes of mail, and especially parcels, can be a problem. Expost not only receives and stores mail for our clients – signing for it when required – but we can manage it for you.

Smarter Addresses

Since Brexit, there have been distinct advantages to having an address in Eire, which remains in the EU, or Northern Ireland, which uniquely remains in the UK but also effectively in the customs
union.

Remote working
The Covid-19 pandemic saw the acceleration of a trend towards remote working, with thousands of people working from home. Modern technology means there is far less need than in the past for workers to clock into the office from nine to five, and many businesses are taking advantage. In some cases, they have given up the lease on their office premises altogether. Meanwhile, many freelance workers have always worked from home.

But what about the post? In some cases, people are happy to receive work-related mail at their home addresses, but often this is inconvenient. What happens when nobody is home? Many people also find it unprofessional. They don’t want work correspondence jumbled up with domestic bills, birthday cards and pizza menus! An Expost virtual address gives you a more convenient, professional and hassle-fee alternative. It can serve the entire business: we can forward items on to particular colleagues as required, scan them to be viewed online or simply dispose of them if they are unwanted. And all the same benefits apply to freelancers.

Expost’s ‘virtual mailroom’ service is the missing piece of the jigsaw for remote working. It gives you a physical address, offering reassurance to your customers, along with the convenience of a professional mail management service.

Limited space
Perhaps you run a business from home, or rent a small office or workshop? If so, large volumes of mail, and especially parcels, can be a problem. If paper correspondence, packets and boxes are cluttering your workspace, a virtual address could be the solution you are looking for.

Expost not only receives and stores mail for our clients – signing for it when required – but we can manage it for you. We will forward on parcels according to your instructions, to any address you request. Meanwhile, we can simply scan letters so you can read them online without the need to receive paper copies at all. More than a virtual address, then, Expost is your ‘virtual mailroom’. And space is no issue!

Smarter addresses
Many businesses now operate almost entirely remotely from their customers. In many cases, they could be on the other side of the world and nobody would know. On the internet, nobody knows you’re in the Bahamas! But what if your business also depends on a more local identity? A tartan business based in Bournemouth just doesn’t look right. And a finance company with an address in the Midlands lacks the cachet of one in London. Expost offers a simple solution.

We offer virtual addresses all over the UK and Eire, so businesses whose customers expect them to be located in a particular region can have an address that meets those expectations. The rest is up to you.

Since Brexit, there have also been distinct advantages to having an address in Eire, which remains in the EU, or Northern Ireland, which uniquely remains in the UK but also effectively in the customs union. Smart use of such addresses can save a fortune in custom duties, as many of our customers have found.
